Have you met Drupal? Drupal is our very good friend. It’s a content management system (CMS), so it handles the presentation of all the information on your site. All the text, all the images. It also gives you a handy interface for updating that content. And it’s got gajillions of “pop-in” modules that let you create voting forms, slideshows, calendars…pretty much anything your heart desires.
A lot of the world’s most sophisticated websites run on Drupal—including government ones. You might have heard of www.whitehouse.gov. Overall, about three times as many of the top 10,000 sites run it as any other CMS. This site runs it too.
Whether you’re looking for someone to implement a CMS for you, or you’re just looking for technical support, site monitoring and that sort of thing…our Drupal geeks are the people to do it. (Viderity is a member of the global Drupal community, by the way.)
That said, we’re broadminded folks, and love many content management systems. We have a lot of expertise in Drupal’s rival, Joomla, too. And if you’re looking for a simpler site, we’re big WordPress fans. WordPress runs about three times as many sites again as Drupal does—because it’s easier to set up, and most sites don’t need the huge amount of functionality Drupal offers.
We mention all this because we want you to know that we only use the best, most mature, well-supported technologies. So no matter what the scale of your site is, managing its content will always be a breeze—something you can do with complete assurance. If that sounds interesting, why not read a bit about contracting us?
